About

Part of our new Inspirational Artists series.

Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii has been hailed as ‘one of the most unique classical pianists performing today’ (Classical Voice) and ‘the definition of virtuosity’ (The Observer). He has been blind from birth, and since winning the joint Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2009, he has gone on to earn an international reputation for the passion and excitement he brings to his live performances.

Through his authenticity, brilliant musicality, and remarkable sensitivity, Tsujii creates a bridge between the composer and the audience. In this performance of piano classics, he brings each piece vividly to life, making the music transcend time and leaving a powerful, lasting impression on everyone who listens.
