Hub for Artistic Research in Performance (HARP)

HARP aims to promote artistic research in performance across all areas of performance and pedagogy at the RNCM, working with staff and students in all programmes and fostering research links with external organisations.

Building on our growing number of research degree students in performance, HARP seeks to spotlight the existing strengths of the College while encouraging new collaborations, sponsoring training events and research-led performance projects.

HARP was delighted to host the RNCM’s first international conference focussing on artistic research into performance from June 28 – 29, 2018, featuring invited presentations and performances by artistic researchers. 47 presenters representing 30 conservatoires and universities from around the world attended. More information on the programme from June can be found here.
