Each year, our In Focus series invites trailblazing composers to the RNCM. Behind the scenes, they work closely with our students, culminating in a compelling day of performances. This Summer we’re delighted to welcome Roxanna Panufnik.

Roxanna Panufnik is one of Britain’s most distinctive and versatile composers, known for her ability to blend musical cultures and build bridges between faiths. A long-standing advocate for interfaith musical dialogue, she weaves together sacred traditions from Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

Panufnik’s compositions are richly harmonic, deeply expressive, and driven by a passion for storytelling and cultural connection.
