Annual Appeal

Support the Joy Bringers

This year, we aim to raise £200,000 to support 100 RNCM students through bursaries.

Music brings us joy, offers comfort in difficult times, and brings people together in ways nothing else can.

Behind every unforgettable performance are talented musicians who have dedicated years to developing their craft. Today’s RNCM students are tomorrow’s performers, composers, teachers, and creative leaders who will go on to share their music in concert halls, schools, hospitals, care settings, and communities around the world, enriching lives through music for years to come.

For many students, however, financial pressures can make it harder to make the most of their studies and opportunities. In some cases, they can affect a student’s ability to focus on their training or even continue their studies.

Bursaries provide vital support, helping talented musicians focus on their training, realise their potential, and embrace the opportunities available to them at the RNCM. Every bursary awarded is an investment in a musician who will go on to bring joy, inspiration, comfort, and connection to audiences and communities for years to come.

‘None of this would have been possible without a bursary. It has allowed me to fully immerse myself in my music studies, to say yes to opportunities, and to grow in ways I will carry with me forever.’
