The RNCM is located one mile south of Manchester City Centre, in the heart of the Education Quarter, on the corner of Oxford Road and Booth Street West.

Oxford Road connects the RNCM by bus to the City Centre and all of Oxford Road, Piccadilly and Victoria train stations. Oxford Road station is a fifteen minute walk away. Go to www.tfgm.com for details of buses and trains in the Greater Manchester area.
Due to ongoing works as part of TFGM’s Bus Priority scheme, we’d advise visitors to allow a little extra time for getting to the venue.
Oxford Road diversions
Between 4 January and 8 January, please note that buses will be diverted from Oxford Road to allow resurfacing work to take place between Booth Street and Charles Street. See this link for further information.
Permanent changes to Oxford Street
A number of permanent changes to Oxford Street are coming into effect to allow a bus, cycle and pedestrian priority zone between Whitworth Street and Portland Street and will include making part of the road open to two-way traffic.

There are several car parks close to the RNCM.
1. RNCM underground car park, located next to the College in the basement of the Sir Charles Groves Hall of Residence, off Rosamond Street West. Open from 5pm – 11.30pm on weekday evenings and from 6am – 11.30pm at the weekend, costing £3.50 (payable on foot at the machine). Please note that overnight car parking is not permitted and will be subject to a £50 fine.
2. The University of Manchester Booth Street car park is situated off Booth Street West. Open 6am – midnight.
3. The Aquatics Centre car park is situated off Booth Street East. Open 6am – 11pm.
Please note that car parks 2 and 3 are not run by the RNCM.
