RNCM on the Road

Our ensembles and soloists perform regularly at prestigious venues and festivals throughout the UK.

Over recent years, RNCM musicians have performed at The Bridgewater Hall, Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Royal Albert Hall, and at major festivals including Huddersfield, Deal, Buxton, Chester, Lichfield, and Salisbury, as well as providing musicians for ongoing series at Buxton Opera House and Nottingham Theatre Royal.

Piazzolla and Michael Nyman.

RNCM Gold Medal Winners’ Concert
Presented by Sir John Tomlinson

The annual Gold Medal Competition features the finest young performers and composers at the College, with each competing for the coveted RNCM Gold Medal in front of a distinguished panel from across the music industry. In this concert, Sir John Tomlinson, President of the RNCM, introduces Charlotte Trepess (soprano), Vykintas Civas (saxophone) and Samantha Clarke (soprano) as they perform repertoire from their Gold Medal programmes. The evening also features a world première by winning composer, Aled Smith.
