Hayley Parkes is RNCM’s New SU President

Pianist Hayley Parkes has been appointed the RNCM’s next Students’ Union President.

Hayley, a former BBC Young Musicians of the Year finalist who was recently awarded a Yamaha Scholarship, will take over from current President Ed Gaffney in September.

She said: ‘After having such an amazing experience myself as a student at the RNCM, it feels a privilege to be elected by the student body as SU President for next year. I only hope I can do the College justice in my efforts to help the RNCM continue from strength to strength in all areas of life – music and otherwise!’
