Directed by Stuart Overington, the RNCM Symphony Chorus brings together students from across the conservatoire to explore the power and scale of large-scale choral singing. Open to all first-year classical students, the Chorus works throughout the year on a diverse repertoire, developing ensemble skills, musicianship, and performance confidence. The culmination includes both informal and public performances, providing valuable experience of collaborative music-making and preparing students for future work with professional choruses and orchestras.

Directed by Stuart Overington, the RNCM Chamber Choir is our premier small vocal ensemble, bringing together talented student singers to perform challenging and rewarding choral repertoire. Working closely with professional partners and guest artists, the Choir explores music from across the centuries, from early masterpieces to contemporary works. Recent and forthcoming collaborations include projects with leading organisations such as the BBC Singers, offering students exceptional opportunities to develop their artistry and gain professional performance experience.

Directed by Wayne Ellington, the RNCM Gospel Choir celebrates the energy, spirit, and rich traditions of gospel music in a vibrant and inclusive setting. Welcoming singers from a range of musical backgrounds, the Choir explores repertoire rooted in gospel and contemporary vocal styles while developing vocal technique, stage presence and ensemble skills. Special projects with acclaimed guest artists provide students with inspiring opportunities to perform dynamic music and engage with one of the most influential vocal traditions in the world.
