Violin and Viola

The School of Strings is home to a thriving community of violin and viola players, who all have a wealth of learning, audition and performance opportunities available to them.

As well as orchestral repertoire, all students are encouraged to take part in chamber music, and students with an interest in Historical Performance will have the opportunity to play with period instruments and bows and to receive tuition in Baroque violin and viola.
