Described by the MEN as ‘a young pianist set to make a major impact’, Slava Sidorenko performs tonight’s penultimate International Artist Diploma recital.
Slava has studied at the RNCM since 2003, working with Norma Fisher, and recently won the Jacques Samuel Intercollegiate Piano Competition, resulting in his début recital at Wigmore Hall. Slava also won a Gold Medal at the inaugural RNCM Gold Medal Weekend in 2006, the highest accolade for performance at the College. The final concert in this exciting new series takes place on 12 March with the violinist Eva Thorarinsdottir, who will give the opening recital of the RNCM Violin Weekend.
