How You Can Help

Keep Music Playing

The situation the College faces today is urgent.

The pandemic has stretched our finances to the limit. Our income decimated by our closure to the public. A loss of £2.1 million.

This now puts our future sustainability, student training, community work and performance programmes in jeopardy.

We’ve attracted support from superstar musicians, broadcasters and stellar alumni, who have come together to share their love for the RNCM in an amazing short film, which you can enjoy here.

We’re reaching out to everyone in the RNCM family to please give whatever you can to help us keep our music playing.

We have been incredibly moved by the response to our appeal, with special thanks to the Oglesby Charitable Trust, who generously matched the first £50,000 of donations.

We are hugely grateful to everyone who has donated so far, enabling us to reach our initial target.  However, this figure only covers around 5% of our losses. With new restrictions in place, forcing us to keep our venues closed even longer, we must continue to fundraise to keep our music playing.

We are now stretching our target to £100,000 to ensure that we can continue to secure the future of the RNCM.

If ever there was a time to support the RNCM, this is it. Thank you.
