How to Book

In order to provide the best possible student experience over the coming months, we have made the decision to remain closed to the public until further notice.

All in-person events promoted by the RNCM until this date are cancelled and our Box Office team will be in touch via email and phone to provide refunds where necessary. We are working to reschedule as many performances as possible; please check individual event listings for information on cancellations or postponements. Whilst our building is closed to the public, future events can be booked on our website and for enquiries please email

Box Office Opening Times:

  • 12 – 6pm Monday to Saturday (later on performance nights)
  • Sunday, 1 hour before performances (closed on non-performance Sundays)
  • Please note that during August, we are closed on weekends
  • Over Christmas, Box Office will be closed from 24 December – 2 January

Booking fees: A booking fee of £1 per ticket applies to most transactions. No booking fee applies to tickets reserved/purchased in person at the Box Office.

Payment: Payment can be made by cash, Mastercard, Visa or Maestro.

Ticket Exchange & Refunds
For events promoted by the RNCM providing tickets are returned 24 hours in advance of the performance, we can credit your account (minus £1 per ticket) with the cost of your tickets. This credit is valid for 12 months to purchase tickets to RNCM promoted events. This facility is generally not available for events not promoted by the RNCM. Refunds are only made in the case of a cancelled performance.

Terms and Conditions
Management reserves the right to refuse admission, and to request that latecomers await entry into the auditorium until a suitable break in the performance.

Tickets are sold subject to the right of the Management to make any cast, programme or seating changes made necessary by unforeseen circumstances.

Patrons wishing to purchase tickets at a concessionary rate might be asked to produce evidence for each concession required. Once tickets are purchased, money will not be refunded. All ticket exchanges are solely at the discretion of the Box Office Manager. Please examine your tickets at the time of purchase to ensure that all details are correct.

Within the RNCM Concert Hall and the RNCM Theatre, in accordance with licensing requirements, members of the audience are not allowed to stand or sit in the entries or gangways intersecting the seating or to sit or stand in any of the other gangways.
