What is a booking fee?

A booking fee is a common industry practice that helps cover the costs of venue administration and ticketing software. This is separate to the costs incurred in the production of an event, such as the artist and crew fees or music licencing fees that help to inform ticket prices.

A per ticket booking fees applies to most transactions and is calculated based on the ticket price. Occasionally, a per transaction fee may be applied in lieu of a per ticket fee, and if this is the case, details will appear on the event listing webpage.

Do your prices displayed include booking fees?

For RNCM promoted events, booking fees are charged as follows:

Children aged 8+ years should enjoy most of our performances, but please check the age guidance as some events may differ.

Children under 2 years old sitting on the knee of a paying adult do not need a ticket. A separate ticket must be booked for all children 2+ years even if they do not require a separate seat.

Our venue curfew is 11pm. More precise timings for live events are often confirmed close to the performance date. If we have this information, it will be added to the event page in our What’s On section.
