RNCM Reunions

RNCM50 Alumni Open House Reunion: Sunday 4 December 2022

On 4 December we welcomed back Alumni from all over the UK and around the world to celebrate the RNCM’s 50th Anniversary at our Open House event.

Over 200 guests were reunited with former classmates and tutors as they toured their old College haunts, shared memories and stories over refreshments, explored the Archive exhibition of photos, recordings, programmes and costumes, and enjoyed performances by current RNCM students.

A large group of people stand on the RNCM concourse holding glasses and smiling.

The celebrations culminated with Sir Stephen Hough leading a champagne toast to 50 years of the RNCM, followed by a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday and the cutting (and eating!) of the birthday cake.

You can see the full photo album and video of the day below and on our Facebook page.
