The Manchester Poetry Prize Gala 2008 - Presented in association with Manchester Literature Festival
Gillian Clarke, Imtiaz Dharker, Carol Ann Duffy poets
The winners of Manchester Metropolitan University Writing School’s inaugural £10,000 Manchester Poetry Prize will be announced at this prize-giving ceremony, alongside the Manchester Young Writer of the Year Award for poets aged 18 to 25.
There will be readings from the competition judges, Gillian Clarke, Imtiaz Dharker and Carol Ann Duffy.
