Overseas Auditions

We are excited to host in-person auditions in multiple overseas locations for 2026 entry.

Taking place in November and December 2025, we will be offering overseas auditions in the following locations:

Beijing
3 – 4 November 2025
Steinway Hall, Beijing

Shanghai
6 – 7 November 2025
Steinway Hall, Shanghai

Shenzhen
9 – 10 November 2025
The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen

Hong Kong
11 November 2025
Voce Studio

Please note that our auditions in China and Hong Kong are only available to piano and string applicants. Other instrumentalists and composers can opt for an online audition or an in-person audition at the RNCM in Manchester, UK.

In addition to the locations listed above, we will be hosting auditions in New York City in December, and more information regarding the instruments we will be assessing during these auditions will become available in the coming weeks.

Application Process

Applicants should follow the standard application process, selecting their preferred audition location within their UCAS application. Those opting for an overseas audition are required to submit an audition recording for shortlisting prior to attending an in-person audition. This recording should follow the requirements outlined on the individual School of Study audition pages.
