RNCM Young Electric Basses

Workshops for electric bass players aged 8 – 18 with at least one year of playing.

Young projects students warm up.

What is RNCM Young Electric Basses?

RNCM Young Electric Basses is a series of free workshops on electric bass playing. This is an exciting opportunity for young players of school age to develop creative, musical and technical skills through workshops held at the RNCM. Led by our experienced RNCM tutors, these workshops offer a chance to meet other players and receive expert tuition and advice on all aspects of playing.

What happens during the workshops?

There will be sessions focused on building solid technique, developing fretboard knowledge and playing together as a group. The sessions will be participatory so expect plenty of playing.

Who can take part?

Anyone aged 8 – 18 with at least one year of playing experience.

RNCM Young Projects are completely free to attend, for all young players of school age (whether a beginner or more experienced) and there is no selection process – there will be something for everyone!
