At the RNCM Neil’s role involves:
- Leading the strategic development of the College estate and developing and implementing policy relating to estates and facilities management.
- Providing comprehensive client-centred services for estate planning, management, facility support activities, environmental services, health and safety, recording and venue technical services.
- Overall responsibility for projects, minor works, planned and reactive maintenance programmes and energy management.
- Providing a comprehensive range of facilities services including, front of house and portering together with management of the outsourced cleaning and security contracts.
- Responsibility for Health and Safety across the estate and public performance venues.
Prior to joining the RNCM in 2009 Neil was Head of Estates and Services at Leeds College of Music and before that Head of Technical Services and Community Venues at Bradford Theatres.
