Environmental Literacy
We believe that the RNCM community should be environmentally literate and to help us achieve this, we provide carbon literacy training to relevant staff who then act as champions within different parts of the organisation.
We use our website, intranet, and VLE to share information about the environmental action taking place at the RNCM, with links to external resources as appropriate.
We also provide monthly communications to staff and students regarding relevant initiatives such as Bike to Work Week, Stop Food Waste Day, and Earth Day, and promote sustainable travel options through the work undertaken by the Corridor Manchester Sustainable Travel Group including a preference for public transport for business travel where feasible.
