Work Experience at the RNCM

The RNCM is committed to providing opportunities for local students and developing links within the community, and believes that offering work experience placements can help inspire the next generation of musicians and the future workforce.

The RNCM’s work experience programme provides exposure to a range of departments including Development, Estates & Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications and Performance & Programming, allowing students to gain a broad overview of the work that goes on across the life of the RNCM. Please be advised that we are unable to provide performance opportunities as part of the work experience offering, and placements will be more focused on the day-to-day administrative processes that happen in and around the building.
