RNCM Pathfinder Nominations: 2023/24

RNCM Pathfinder – Schools, music hubs and other educational organisations are invited to nominate a young musician!

The RNCM Pathfinder programme is designed to increase opportunities for children and young people (8-18) who are curious, full of potential and love nothing more than playing music, but who face financial, social and/or cultural barriers to their musical progression.

We are pleased to announce that as of September 2021, we can now offer a Junior (approximate ages 8-13) and Senior (approximate age 14-18) Pathfinder strand.

There is no audition, nor requirement of proof of grade, but we are looking at nominations which include the barrier to progression and are underpinned by a statement as to why that young musician would make a perfect candidate for the programme.

We will take applications all year round and will operate with a waiting list should the group of participants exceed capacity.

Nominations will only be accepted from schools, music hubs and other educational organisations.
