Alum is finalist of Black British Business Awards
Alum Daniel Kidane is one of the finalists of the Black British Business Awards (BBBAwards), which recognise the trailblazers and rising stars of the UK’s vibrant business sector.
The BBBAwards are the only premium awards programme to celebrate both the exceptional performance and outstanding achievements of black professionals and entrepreneurs in global, small and medium enterprises operating in Great Britain.
They uncover inspirational role models; ambassadors who represent the best talent across various sectors in the British economy, and are designed to transcend stereotypes and highlight the often-unsung contributions of black people to the British economy.
Composer Daniel, who graduated in 2012, appears in the Arts and Media Rising Star category. The winners will be announced during a special awards ceremony and evening gala in London on 4 October 2018. Endorsed by the Prime Minister, the Mayor of London and Secretary of State, the BBBAwards will celebrate its fifth anniversary with over 450 senior leaders, industry influencers and high-profile supporters; honouring the enormous success generated over the previous four years.
Melanie Eusebe, Chair and Co-founder of the Black British Business Awards commented: ‘I am thrilled to congratulate all of this year’s finalists within the Arts and Media category. You are carving out a pathway for BAME talent whilst breaking through stereotypes and changing the game with your contribution. You are evidence that diversity fuels innovation and growth in the creative industries of the UK.’
