RNCM Annual Appeal

At the Royal Northern College of Music, we do more than just teach music.

Through an unrivalled number of partnerships, placements, and performance opportunities, we ensure our graduates are highly employable and industry ready. This year, our Annual Appeal is raising vital funds to sustain the unique training we offer.

The music industry is incredibly competitive, and on-the-job experience is crucial for our graduates to transition quickly and successfully into the workforce.

The RNCM invests over £300,000 a year to provide unparalleled experiences for students, providing them with the tools they need to stand out and forge resilient and impactful careers. As costs rise, we’re seeking support to protect this vital part of their training.

What we offer at the RNCM is exciting, distinctive, and truly forward-thinking – and the results speak for themselves: 100% of RNCM graduates are employed or in further study, with over 87% working in music (Graduate Outcomes survey 2022-23). We are also proud that 40% of orchestral seats in the North of England are held by RNCM alumni.
