Soprano Madison wins ROSL Award

Congratulations to Madison Horman, winner of the 2022 Royal Over-Seas League Award for New Zealand Musician of Promise.

The lyric soprano is currently working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Studies as a Leverhulme Scholar after gaining a distinction in her MMus degree.

During her studies, Madison has performed the role of Mrs Gobineau in RNCM Opera’s autumn production of Menotti’s The Medium (above, right). Next month she makes her debut at The Bridgewater Hall in the Halle’s semi-staged performance of Madama Butterfly, conducted by Sir Mark Elder.
