Alberto studied with Radovan Vlatkovic at “Reina Sofía” School of Music in Madrid and continues his musical formation with Stefan Dohr, Dale Clevenger, Radek Baborak, Hermann Baumann and Richard Watkins.

Currently Principal horn at the BBCSSO since 2016/17 session.

Former Principal horn of the BBC Philharmonic and Orchestra de la Comunidad de Madrid.

From 2010 to 2014 he was first horn of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester.

Alberto plays as principal horn guest with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Lucerne Festival Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, LSO, Philharmonia, Frankfurt Radio, Scala Milan, Mahler Chamber, Orchestra Mozart, CBSO and works with conductors such as C.Abbado, Sir S.Rattle, D.Barenboim, B.Haitink, F. Welser-Möst, G.Dudamel, A.Nelsons, Sir C.Davis, D.Gatti among others.

As a soloist he won two first prizes in competitions in 2004 and 2006 and performed Strauss Horn concerto with the RTVE, Mozart Horn Concerto with München Kammerorchester and also has appeared as a soloist together with the BBC Philharmonic in performances of the concertos by Mozart and Strauss.
