Alex was a founder member of the Brodsky String Quartet and studied with the quartet at the RNCM under the tuition of Nobuko Imai and Eli Goren. He recently rejoined the RNCM as a viola tutor, having taught during 1985-1992 and has performed widely with chamber ensembles and chamber orchestras including the Endymion Ensemble and Goldberg Ensemble.
