In addition to his role as an educator, RNCM Drum Tutor Bryan Hargreaves has a successful career as a freelance session musician, working with Heather Small and M People as a regular band member since 2003, touring the world and appearing on both radio and television.

Bryan is consistently in demand as a live/studio musician performing across a wide variety of styles from Latin music, with projects such as La Gran Descarga, and Casa Latina All stars, through to progressive rock projects such as Combination Head.

Other professional credits include Snake Davis (Lisa Stansfield, Take That), Hamish Stuart (Average White Band), Errol Brown, Ben E. King, The Temptations, The Supremes and Gary U.S Bonds. His television and radio work includes Michael Parkinson Show, Top Of The Pops, GMTV, Songs Of Praise, This Is Your Life, The Jonathon Ross Show and he held the drum seat in the house band for Terry Wogan’s radio show Weekend Wogan, where he has performed for both audio and video broadcast with international artists such as Huey Lewis, Brian May, Glen Campbell, Beverly Knight, Paul Carrack, Mika, Leon Russell, Lulu, Sandie Shaw, and many more.
