Harriet joined the RNCM Programming team in 2017. Her role involves working closely with the Programming Manager and artistic directors to shape the programme for each of the RNCM’s festivals and to oversee the logistical delivery of each event. These festivals include the RNCM Saxophone Day, Strings Day, International Brass Band Festival, and Day of Percussion. Harriet also co-ordinates the biennial RNCM James Mottram International Piano Competition.
Most recently in 2023-24, she has taken an active role in the planning and production of an industry event for Earth Day, the RNCM Gold Medal Competition, and the ‘Nature’s Music’ event at Manchester Museum.
In 2013, Harriet took up the role of Short Courses and Saturday Music School Administrator at Leeds College of Music. In this role she was able to combine her passion for music and her skills as an administrator and event co-ordinator with excellent customer service.
Harriet began her career at the British Council in Manchester. During her time in the Customer Management team, she developed a genuine care for customer service excellence, helping her team to improve the service delivered in British Council offices worldwide.
Harriet graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010 with a MusB in Music.
