Mariano García

International Visiting Professor of Saxophone

Professor at the Catalonia College of Music in Barcelona (ESMUC). He has taught at the European Saxophone University in Gap, the Luca School of Music in Leuven (Belgium) and the Aragón Higher Conservatoire of Music. He’s also a member of Musethica Project.

He is a demanded musician by the most prestigious institutions to give masterclasses, including the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY; the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester; the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki; the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels; and the ZHdK in Zurich, amongst others.

He is a founding member, teacher and jury member at the Andorra Sax Fest. He serves on the jury at major international competitions such as Dinant 2023. As part of the AniMa Duo, he has recorded four CDs with the pianist Aniana Jaime. He is a Selmer and Vandoren artist.
