Few artists who rose to fame in the ’70s sounded as individual and eclectic as the iconic singer-songwriter Rickie Lee Jones. Her 1979 eponymous debut album won her a Grammy for Best New Artist and featured her most loved song, Chuck E’s in Love. The follow-up album, Pirates, garnered a 5 star review and the front cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.
Her latest album Kicks presents her unique interpretations of the songs that were pivotal to her musical journey.
Rickie has worked alongside Dr. John, Quincy Jones, Randy Newman, Steely Dan, Tori Amos, Ben Harper, Steve Gadd and more.
