About

We’re delighted to host this event as part of the Oxford Road Corridor’s Cultural Welcome, taking place between Mon 6-Sun 12 Oct 2025. The Cultural Welcome sees museums, theatres, music venues, and galleries along Oxford Road all opening their doors to new and returning students with a series of specially curated events.

Step into a world where folklore, magic, and music intertwine. Witching Hour is a spellbinding live performance that merges classical, contemporary, and folk music with storytelling. This event is also part of our Legends and Lore series.

Join us before this performance as author Ceri Holbrook appears in conversation about her new book, co-written by Owen Davies, Folklore: A Journey Through the Past and Present, with Professor Melanie Giles.
