Madeleine Brown, winner of the RNCM Gold Medal Competition 2025, studied at Trinity College, Cambridge before undertaking her postgraduate degree at RNCM under the tutelage of Kathryn Stott. Join her for a 30-minute solo recital of music by Haydn and Janáček ahead of tonight’s BBC Philharmonic concert.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this programme was changed on 27 November to replace Maxwell Davies’ The Yellow Cake Revue.
