RNCM Ensemble+
RNCM Ensemble+ is a new initiative designed to create a network of higher education and professional partnerships to share and exchange learning and teaching with a focus on high-tech remote communication.
RNCM Ensemble+ is funded by the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the Garfield Weston Foundation.
Partnering with the RNCM are: The University of Leeds, the University of Liverpool, Newcastle University, The University of Nottingham, The University of Sheffield, the University of York, BBC North and the School of Sound Recording (SSR).
At this early stage we are sharing captured pedagogical content from the higher education partners and instigating a series of live network demonstrations which will be catalogued on our closed partner network. This website is an early prototype of what will eventually be the Ensemble+ content sharing platform. While we test live network capability and continue to build on our partnerships we welcome feedback on this site and its content.
