RNCM Children’s Opera: The Jungle Book

Our annual Children’s Opera is an RNCM flagship project and sees 150 children from our four local schools performing alongside over 70 RNCM students in a fully-staged new production written by the children and composer Kate Pearson.

Follow the children into a wild world of wonderment and danger. Raised by wolves, a young Mowgli navigates his way through the wilderness learning valuable lessons of survival and courage. But when a tyrant tiger tries to turn the other animals against him for being human, a journey of self-discovery unfolds as Mowgli struggles to find his place between the animal kingdom and mankind.

A vibrant cast of characters supports him along the way as they help Mowglie learn the laws of the jungle and discover where he truly belongs.
