Role: Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Manchester Collective, Alumnus
About: Adam co-founded the Manchester Collective in 2016 with fellow graduate Rakhi Singh. Known for their experimental programming and daring collaborations, they now play in concert halls, gig venues and factory spaces across Europe and the UK, performing a combination of cutting edge contemporary music, classical masterpieces, and staged work. They also commission major works and audio-visual installations. He says: ‘Rather than chasing the whims of a fickle public, or programming according to popular trends, our role is to find repertoire that we find to be compelling and valuable, and to make the best possible case for that work.’
