Role: Alumnus and Music Director, Birmingham Opera Company
About: Birmingham-born Alpesh joined us as an undergraduate cellist, before continuing his studies as a postgraduate conductor. Earlier this year we were so proud when Alpesh’s service to the arts was recognised in the form of an OBE in the late Queen’s New Year’s Honours list, and to see him conduct the CBSO at the opening of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
