About: Recognised internationally as an advocate for decolonising music education, Nate joined the RNCM as our first International Chair in Music Education in 2021. Since then, he has worked with PGCE students and colleagues from schools and music services within Greater Manchester on the importance of developing more inclusive approaches to music education.
Did you know? Nate has performed and recorded worldwide with artists including Ed Sheeran, Ghetts, Zoe Birkett and KOKOROKO. He’s also written several books, including Where are all the Black Female Composers?, Where are all the instruments? and Why is My Piano Black and White?
