Legends and Lore
Some stories are passed down through generations. Others are born in a moment of inspiration or pulled from the edges of imagination. Still, music has the power to carry them further.
Legends and Lore is a year-long celebration of storytelling through music. From ancient legends to oral traditions, stories have always helped us connect. They link us to each other, to our cultures, and to the world around us. This series invites our students and visiting artists to explore legends of their heritage, draw on myths for inspiration, and uncover folkloric threads in works they perform.
Shaped by connection, Legends and Lore is where sound and story converge, allowing narratives to unfold in new and meaningful ways through live performance.
