Unite Students supports Free Ticket Scheme

Unite Students’ continued partnership with RNCM aligns a leading provider of student accommodation with a world-leading conservatoire training the next generation of musicians.

The partnership has enabled Unite Students to offer a unique and elevated experience for those living in the ten Unite Students properties across Manchester. Working together, the RNCM and Unite Students have provided hundreds of students across the city free access to a variety of concerts and performances at the RNCM.

Through the ticket scheme, students have experienced first-hand Manchester’s iconic growing music scene and cultural access for those who face financial barriers in accessing arts and culture has been widened. Students have attended a varied and exciting programme of music and enjoyed everything from the prestigious RNCM student Opera to the RNCM Session Orchestra – an inspiring, high-energy 40-piece ensemble performing pop music.

The partnership also provides bespoke opportunities for Unite Students to gain brand exposure with our international student base and through student recruitment opportunities, both on our digital channels and in the building. Through marketing opportunities at open days, offer holder days, presence on RNCM social channels and the website, and targeted mailings, Unite Students have been able to reach 8,000 prospective and current students, alumni and industry professionals annually.

Unite Students’ funding is an investment in the RNCM and our mission to educate and train musicians to the highest level in an environment that is musically and creatively stimulating and rich in opportunity.

Together we have been able to reimagine student living in Manchester and we look forward to continuing our partnership.
