Gifting a musical instrument can have a profound impact on the next generation of talented musicians, providing them with the tools they need to excel in their profession.

The RNCM can sometimes accept gifts of modern and historic instruments that are in excellent or “like new” condition, for our collection or students’ use (both in our senior and junior schools, and young programmes).

By gifting a high-quality instrument, you can transform a student’s learning experience, inspiring creativity and confidence.

If you are thinking about donating an instrument to the RNCM—either during your lifetime or as a gift in your will—please complete the form below, and someone from the Development Team will be in touch.

While we deeply appreciate such thoughtful gestures, we are not always able to accept instruments due to space constraints, need, and the quality standards required for student use.

All agreements are made in principle at the time of enquiry and may be subject to change, due to the changing nature of the RNCM and its needs.

As a charity, we are unable to cover transportation costs to the RNCM (M13 9RD). If you are able to cover the delivery costs yourself, we would be most grateful.
