Support Acts

Iona Gray
Iona is a Swiss Scottish singer, flautist and songwriter currently studying at the RNCM. Raised in a musical family, she began studying the classical flute, piano, and singing at a young age and has since developed a distinctive voice as both a pop musician and an original artist. Inspired by artists such as Jordan Rakei, Alfa Mist, Willow Smith, Lucy Rose and Aurora, her original music sits within an alternative pop style, featuring layered vocal textures, unconventional instrumentation and shifting time signatures. Through her lyrics, Iona aims to communicate meaningful ideas, and her songs often carry a relevant message while creating a unique atmosphere. Growing up in Switzerland, she has always been surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, which led to a love and interest in the natural world. She now devotes much of her creative identity to the natural world, aiming to raise awareness of environmental issues and make a quiet difference through her music. Alongside her own project, Iona enjoys playing the flute and singing in other artists’ projects, as well as in choirs like classical chamber choirs and, of course, the gospel choir.

Alex Bradford
Alex is in his final year and has been a member of the RNCM Gospel Choir since the very beginning. Despite being a classical pianist, he has been shaped by the gospel choir, developing both his confidence and freedom in his performances. Being involved in the choir has opened his mind to a new world of music and given him amazing experiences to carry into his future. His performance tonight will reflect his journey so far and convey his passion for this music and his Christian family and relatives.

Finnbar Christopher Flood
Growing up next door to his grandparents, with his grandad’s recording studio in Henley-On-Thames, Finn aspires to continue the family music legacy, leaving the countryside for the big city. Taking inspiration from the likes of Coldplay and Tom Odell, Finn writes warm, mellow pop songs that lead the mind to a moment of peace amid the stresses of day-to-day life.

Tamsin Schofield, Saff Stringer & Heledd Richardson
Tamsin, Saffron, and Heledd are all currently training in their second year in RNCM School of Vocal Studies and Opera, carrying on their passion for classical singing. Alongside this, they enjoy exploring gospel and pop music, celebrating the versatility of their voices and the power of music to connect and inspire. They have taken full advantage of the variety of opportunities available to all students at the RNCM, indulging in the vast range of styles. Whilst taking part in L’Amour de Trois Oranges and The Cunning Little Vixen at the RNCM, the three have maintained their equal love for the gospel and pop genres.
