Programme of a student performance showing Frank Tipping playing the Nováček String Quartet. Tipping was a young and brilliant student who also performed with the Hallé Orchestra but sadly who died at war. 1915.

- Novácek Quartet number 3, Opus 13, ‘cello part annotated by Adolph Brodsky. This piece was played by Frank Tipping, a violin student at the Royal Manchester College of Music who was killed at war. 1904.
