Music and Neuroscience: Measuring How the Brain Responds to MusicDr Michelle Phillips, Head of Enterprise (Academic) will introduce you to the groundbreaking research that we are undertaking into how the brain responds to music. A real time demo of brain response (using portable EEG) will be accompanied by a talk on music and neuroscience, and what we know about how live music in particular is processed in the brain. |

Choose to take a tour with our Student Ambassadors to view practice spaces, teaching rooms and accommodation, stopping off at open rehearsals and Studio 8 demonstrations on the way.
Tours will be available throughout the day except 10-11am and 2.45-4pm. |

RNCM Symphony Orchestra Concert
If you’re spending the weekend in Manchester, please join us at The Bridgewater Hall at 2pm on Saturday 28 June for our final RNCM Symphony Orchestra performance of the year. The orchestra will be performing Mahler 2 as part of Manchester Classical. Discover RNCM attendees can request up to 3 complimentary tickets by emailing [email protected]. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
