RNCM Young Voices

RNCM Young Voices is an exciting new vocal group for anyone aged 14 to 18 to rehearse and perform with like-minded people in a fun environment.

Participants don’t need any previous experience, just energy and a real enthusiasm for singing.

A choir of students perform.

Rehearsals take place at the RNCM on Wednesday evenings during term time between 7 and 9pm. No audition or prior experience is necessary and it’s completely free to attend.

Sessions are led by vocalists and alumni Dominic Lawson and Nicole Battick, with support from current RNCM students, who’ll train you in how to use your voice and how to perform with confidence. You’ll sing fun, exciting music including pop, gospel, jazz, musicals and world music, and you’ll have a say in what you sing. You’ll also get to perform in venues and at events across Manchester and further afield, and we’ll give you specialist advice on developing your talents at college of university.
