RNCM Young Bassoons
Workshops for bassoons players aged 8 -18 with at least one year of playing experience.
What is RNCM Young Bassoons?
RNCM Young Bassoons is a series of free workshops on bassoon playing led by RNCM bassoon tutor Alice Wrigglesworth. It is a chance to meet other young bassoon players and get expert tuition and advice on a range of topics. The sessions are participatory so expect plenty of playing.
What happens during the workshops?
There will be lots of technical tips to help you play better, so you can enjoy your playing even more. The workshops will focus on developing your bassoon playing and musicianship through ensembles and creative activities. There will also be plenty of opportunities to listen to and talk about the bassoon.
Some workshops will run alongside RNCM Young Oboes, giving the opportunity to explore the exciting double reed ensemble repertoire.
Who can take part?
Anyone aged 8 – 18 with at least one year of playing experience.
