The RNCM James Mottram International Piano Competition will return in Autumn 2025 for its ninth edition.

We’re delighted to host this biennial event once again. Young pianists from across the globe will join us for an extraordinary week, performing on the concert platform and taking part in masterclasses led by a distinguished international jury.  

We’d love for you to be part of this all-round experience. Attend the early rounds for free before hearing three finalists perform their concerto with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
