Changhwan Choi

Changhwan Choi graduated from Sunhwa Arts Middle and High School with top performance awards and was selected as a member of the Sunhwa Piano Society, receiving a scholarship for his distinguished talent. He later entered Yonsei University was awarded a full scholarship as a recipient of the Hyundai Foundation during his studies. He made his debut at the Kumho Young Artist Concert and soon gained recognition in Korea by winning numerous prestigious competitions, including the Korea Chopin Competition, as well as representing Korea at international contests.

During his time at Sunhwa, he received a Merit Award for his contribution to the school’s development. He has performed at the Steinway Invitation Recital, Kumho Young Artist Concert, Sejong Center Chamber Hall, Yonsei University Excellence Recital. He was also awarded Third Prize and a Special Award at the Kawai International Competition, gave a recital at Omotesando Hall in Tokyo, and won Third Prize at the Premio Toscana Casina International Competition in Italy. He is pursuing further studies in Germany at the University of Music Münster, under the guidance Arnulf von Arnim.
