Gabriel Meloni

Gabriel Meloni made his orchestral debut at age ten and has since performed at renowned venues such as the Vienna Konzerthaus, Vienna Musikverein, and the Bregenz Festival, as well as for ORF and Allianz. He regularly collaborates with members of the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonic orchestras. He is currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Stefan Mendl and Jan Jiracek von Arnim. Gabriel has participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Lang Lang, Pavel Gililov, Michel Béroff, Bernd Goetzke, and Eldar Nebolsin. As a prize-winner in numerous competitions, he received Second Prize at the 2018 Rotary Klavierpreis in Lindau, Third Prize at the 2012 International Jenö Takacs Competition, and Third Prize at the 2019 Nuova Coppa Pianisti in Osimo, Italy. An active chamber musician, Gabriel has recorded a CD with bassoon and won multiple national and international prizes, including a special prize at the 2017 Luigi Nono competition in Turin. Invitations include EPTA, Swiss Chamber Music Festival, Klevischer Musiksommer, Musik Hug Zürich, amongst others.
