Hyelim Kim

South Korean pianist Hyelim Kim, who has just graduated with her Artist Diploma, studied with Claudio Martínez Mehner and is a prize-winner of numerous international piano competitions, including the Clara Haskil Competition and the Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition. Her other mentors include Nina Tichman and Georg Friedrich Schenck.

At the age of ten, Hyelim made her orchestral debut with the Romania Bacau Philharmonie and has since performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Zermatt Festival Orchestra, Orchestre de Picardie, Gürzenich Orchestra, and Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, among others. In the upcoming 2025/26 season, Hyelim’s debut album will be released on the Naxos label, featuring suites by German-Swiss composer Joachim Raff. She will also return to perform at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg in January 2026.
