Mariam Loladze-Meredith

Mariam Loladze-Meredith is a British-Georgian pianist currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she studies with Sofya Gulyak and holds a position as an Associate Instructor.
In July 2025, she graduated from the Royal College of Music in London, where she studied under Ian Jones as an Alida Johnson Award Holder. Whilst at the RCM, Mariam received further mentorship from Sofya Gulyak, Dinara Klinton, and Danny Driver. Prior to her conservatoire studies, Mariam spent ten years at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, studying with Dina Parakhina.
A highlight of her early career was reaching the Category Final of BBC Young Musician 2018. She went on to receive a prize in the 2021 RCM Concerto Competition and the Bronze Medal in the 2023 Appelbe Piano Competition. Most recently, Mariam was awarded First Prize in the IU Jacobs Concerto Competition performing Shostakovich Piano Concerto No 1, and Second Prize in the 2025 Radda Rise International Piano Competition.
