Michał Selwesiuk

A representative of the young generation of Polish pianists, Michał is a student at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where he polishes his skills under the guidance of Professor Zbigniew Raubo and Dr. Łukasz Trepczyński. Over the years, he has gained recognition in numerous international and national competitions. Michał has performed in prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Megaron Hall in Athens.
He also contributes actively to the cultural life of his region, regularly performing and promoting classical music across Lower Silesia. Throughout his career, he has refined his artistry with distinguished pianists and professors, including Professor Andrzej Jasiński, Professor Janusz Olejniczak, Valentina Igoshina, Carlo Palese, Marc Laforet, Martín García García, and Charles Richard-Hamelin. A passionate devotee of the arts, he often seeks inspiration beyond the concert stage, drawing creative spark from the world of cinema. The music of Chopin, Rachmaninov, and Ravel is closest to his heart, though he eagerly explores a wide range of repertoire, both as a soloist and chamber musician.
